WHAT IS MIDI?
According to Wikipedia, MIDI is an acronym that stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. It’s a way to connect devices that make and control sounds — such as synthesizers, samplers, and computers — so that they can communicate with each other, using MIDI messages.
WHEN AND WHERE DID I DISCOVER MIDI?
I discovered MIDI for the first time on an operating system which is Microsoft Windows XP in the year 2010, we had a personal computer way back then.
I haven't discovered and seen a MIDI hardware or a synthesizer yet, so there is a virtual one in that operating system: the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synthesizer.

I started and loved to explore the files, even inside the Windows system files.
When I stopped at the folder named PUB60COR inside the directory of Microsoft Office 2003, I saw media files that had a very small file size of about 14 to 30 KB compared to other music files. When I started opening (or playing) the files, I was curious about how the sounds fit in the file sizes.
WHAT SOFTWARE DO I USE FOR PLAYING MIDI SONGS?
Since I am using a computer, that is under Microsoft Windows OS, and have no experience using real hardware synthesizers or even professional MIDI keyboards, way back years ago was a Windows Media Player as it is the only default operating system's media player.
Nowadays, for standard MIDI players, I am always using vanBasco Karaoke Player and Tom's MIDI Player.

But on a smartphone, which is in Android OS, I'm using an app with the use of soundfont called Cherry MIDI and SoundFont-MidiPlayer-Piano.
WHAT GENRE OF MUSIC I AM MAKING?
Whenever I create one, I never think of what music genre I am going to choose to make. What it came from my mind, I render it straight on my D.A.W.
Note that I have not learned anything yet about music like how to read musical notes, how to use musical instruments, or related.
I assume my genres are Pop, Classical, Soft, Soft Jazz, and/or Instrumental Solos.
Nowadays, I am now going to stick to the Stage and Screen genre or let's say Film Score.

MY FIRST MUSIC COMPOSITION EVER RELEASED ON THE INTERNET
LEGACY ALBUMS
All of these albums are now considered an unofficial release, due to a lack of knowledge about making music way back then.
It had a lot of remixes that were not remixed and some are templated (or the free MIDI chords online) to make easy music compositions.
Some of my original compositions will have a remake soon.
